Hugo Brown

Artist / Producer / Live Performer

Hailing from the serene landscapes of Tasmania and now based in Melbourne, Australia, Hugo Brown is an emerging force in the underground house music scene. Combining elements of jazz, hip-hop, soul and dub music into his sound, to create deep dance floor cuts full of hypnotic grooves and textures.

Hugo quickly made a name for himself, with his first release reaching #37 in the Beatport Top 100 Deep Houses releases in 2014 at just 19 years old. A decade later and he's still at it, treating audiences with his unique sound. 2025 saw Hugo release his debut album 'Full Circle' via his label Inflorescence Music, launching the album at Melbourne's acclaimed Music Room and Brisbane's Black Bear Lodge. Playing alongside London's Isaac Carter as well as heavyweight local support from Wretla, Ryan Berkley, Oscar Black, El Delpha and Chris George. 

Inflorescence Music also gave Hugo the platform to start running his own club nights in 2024, which now runs monthly across venues in Melbourne. 

Recent performances at acclaimed venues like Music Room, Angel Music Bar and The Toff In Town, along side notable performances on PBS 106.7FM The Breakfast Spread - 'Wheels of Steel' and Rainbow Serpent Renegade Stages, have showcased his ability to create unforgettable experiences on the dance floor. 

Wearing many hats as a DJ, Live act, Producer and Promoter, it's no surprise Hugo is gaining traction as a sought-after talent in the electronic music community. As an artist that dares to search for new sounds, Hugo Brown is poised to leave a lasting mark on the deep house genre, inviting listeners to journey with him through sound.
